Safety and Conduct Guidelines

Safety is our top priority to ensure that everyone enjoys the parade without incident. Please adhere to the following safety guidelines and conduct rules:

• Vehicle Safety: All vehicles must be in good operating condition and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Drivers must possess a valid driver's license and remain sober and alert throughout the parade.
• Speed: All entries must maintain a steady, walking pace. Sudden stops and starts should be avoided to prevent accidents.
• Spacing: Maintain adequate spacing between parade entries to allow for safe stopping and maneuvering.
• Throwing Items: Throwing items from floats or vehicles is strictly prohibited to prevent injuries and littering. Handing out items directly to spectators is allowed, provided it does not cause disruption.
• Animal Entries: All animals must be under control at all times. Participants with animals are responsible for cleaning up after their animals and must ensure they are comfortable and safe in the parade environment.
• Supervision: Youth groups must have appropriate adult supervision at all times. All participants should follow the instructions of parade marshals and officials.
• Respect and Conduct: Participants are expected to behave respectfully and courteously, avoiding any actions that could harm the image of the parade or safety of the attendees.

Please remember that failure to adhere to these safety guidelines may result in removal from the parade. Let's work together to ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone!
